Doris Moore

Graveside services for Doris Marie Moore, 84, of Temple, will be 11 a.m. August 29, 2013, in Granger City Cemetery in Granger, Texas.

Mrs. Moore died Saturday, August 24, 2013, at her home in Temple.

She was born on June 4, 1929, in Killeen, Texas to Charlie James and Jessie Merle Turner Baker. She graduated from Liberty Hill High School in 1947. She married C.W. Moore in Austin, Texas. Doris and C.W. were married for 30 years prior to his death in 1987. She was employed by the Department of Public Safety for over 30 years, retiring as a DPS Supervisor in 1992.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Jessie and by her husband, C.W. She is survived by her son, Bobby Neil Long of Austin her sister, Lois Dean Merritt of Temple and her nephews, Roy and Raymond Jenks and their families.
