Doris Milian

Doris Mae Milian, 84 of Burleson, and formerly of Temple, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 in a Burleson hospital. Funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple with Rev. Joe Emerson officiating. Burial will follow in Seaton Cemetery.

Doris Mae Milian was born May 24, 1926 to Jerry and Tillie Rochcek Elles in Oscar, Texas. On August 2, 1944, she was married to Edwin J. Milian in Temple, Texas. She worked as a homemaker. She also worked as a machine operator for 25 years for Bough Shoe Factory and Curtis Shoe Factory Mrs. Milian was a member of SPJST in Cyclone, Texas. She was a member of Seaton Brethren Church.


She was preceded in death by her husband on January 18, 1996, her parents, and brother.


Survivors include: son, Darrell Milian of Burleson, daughter, Melanie Milian of Temple, grandchildren, Amanda Milian and Lacey Milian, and great grandchild, Madison Milian.

Visitation will be 6:008:00pm Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
