Doris Dees

Doris Toresia Dees, 82, of Temple, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at a local hospital. Services will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10 am in the HarperTalasek Chapel.
Doris was born on June 20, 1930 in Milam County to Dave and Lena Mae Morris Miller. She was a member of Twin Cities Baptist Church since 1972. She graduated from Temple High School in 1948 and married Robert B. Dees on July 22, 1950 in Temple. She worked as a lab tech at Scott and White for 34 years. Doris played the church piano and organ since 1972. She worked with primary department at Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Dees, one sister Joyce Cox, and one granddaughter Heather Dees.
Doris is survived by her daughter Nell Dees of Temple, son Dennis Dees of Temple, 3 grandchildren, and a host of dear friends.
A visitation will be Friday from 68pm at the HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple Chapel.
