Donna Stone

Services for Donna Susan Stone, 69, of Rockport will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be at Belfalls Cemetery.

Donna Stone died Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Rockport, Texas.

Donna Susan Stone was born August 16, 1948 to Donald Russell and Sue Whitlow Russell in Temple, Texas. Donna graduated from Temple High School and furthered her education at Temple College with an associate's degree in computer programming. She was a proud mother and was a homemaker while her children were young. She worked for ten years at Texas Hydraulics as a Manager until she received her realtor's license and then sold real estate in Temple. She worked for Bell County Narcotics Task Force until her retirement in 2010. Her hobbies included being at the beach, playing the piano, singing karaoke, and spending time with her friends in Rockport. She had an unconditional love for her dog, Bentley. Donna was a Christian by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Shaun Stone and wife Ana; three daughters, Robin Tracy and husband Scott, Renee Legg and husband Daryl, and Carissa Chandler and husband Rusty; two brothers, David Russell Sr. and wife Susan, and Randy Russell; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the funeral home.

Arrangements are in the care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
