Donna Bower

Services for Donna Lee Bower, 75 of Temple will be 10:00 am Saturday March 7, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Judy Gotcher Officiating.
Donna passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26th at a local hospital with her family by her side.

Donna Lee Bower was born on September 26, 1939 to Fay and Grace Stone O'Connell in Bakersfield, Vermont. She was married to the late Donald Bower for fifty-seven years before he passed away on July 16, 2014. They lived in Temple for forty-one years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughters, Dawn Simmons and Doreen Bower; parents, brothers, Gary O'Connell, Thomas O'Connell, and Richard O'Connell.

Survivors include her three daughters, Deborah Dye and husband Michael of Pflugerville, TX., Diane Sevey and husband Randy of Eddy, TX., and Demetra Bower of Austin, TX.; sister, Gloria Geddes and husband Sam; brothers; Philip O'Connell and wife Heidi, David O'Connell and wife Connie; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Her family would like to express sincere thanks and appreciation to the most caring staff at Elmcroft Senior Living for the comforting care she received during her final days.
