Donald Rash

Memorial Services for Donald "Donny" Carl Rash, 66, of Austin, will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 20, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Brother Tom Shelton officiating.

Donald C. Rash died on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his home.

Donald C. Rash was born on June 24, 1950 to James Lester Rash and Marge Eloise Travis in Pendleton, Oregon. He graduated from Temple High School in 1968. He enlisted and proudly served in the Navy. He acquired the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Donny was a musician. He enjoyed writing music and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sharon Kay Rash; and a brother, Les Wayne Rash.

Survivors include his brother, Jimmy Lee Rash and wife Linda of Moody, Texas and a sister, Kathy Lynn Sapp of Jacksonville, Florida.
