Dolores Medrano

Dolores Medrano, 66, of Temple passed away, Tuesday, September 20, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00pm, Friday, September 23, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park under the direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple . A visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:007:00pm, at the funeral home, with Rosary being held at 7:00pm.

Dolores was born September 3, 1945 in Odem , Texas , the daughter of the late Enrique Ceballos and Clara Arevalo Ceballos. On January 21, 2000, she married Frank Medrano. She worked as an LVN at Kings Daughter Clinic for the past 11 years. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Reuben Ceballos of Midland .

Dolores is survived by her husband Frank Medrano of Temple , daughter JoAnn Shine of Temple , son Steve Escalante, Jr. of Victoria , stepchildren Kathy White of Hemphill, Kelley Engstrom and husband Mike of Rhome, Frank S. Medrano and wife Lori of Albuquerque, NM, 3 sisters JoAnn Gomez of Moffatt, Gloria Ceballos of Temple, Sandra Ceballos of Waco, 4 brothers Henry Ceballos of Midland, Bonifacio Ceballos of Burlingotn, Gonzalo Ceballos of Temple, Arturo Ceballos of Richmond, VA, 2 grandchildren, 6 stepgrandchildren, 2 great, grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
