Dolly Hawkins

Dolly Dolores Hawkins, 90, of Temple, passed away at a local nursing home July 11, 2012. Services will be Monday, July 16, 2012 at Belton Nazarene Church at 10 am with burial to follow at Temple Garden of Memories. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple from 68 pm.
Dolly was born to Charles Leroy Houston and Laura Estelle Leach in Bartlesville, OK on March 27, 1922. She worked for Scott and White for over 20 years in the accounting office. She was a member of the Belton Nazarene Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hawkins in 1998, her son, Albert Hawkins, and daughter, Dolores Berry, and brothers Leroy Houston, Hubert Houston, and Jimmy Houston.
Dolly is survived by her daughters Beth Wickwire and husband Jerry of Temple, Tx., Marjean Farmer and husband Rick, of Bethany, OK., and son Lloyd Hawkins and wife Carmen of Temple, Tx., her soninlaw, Ron Berry of Temple, Tx., and 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews and a dear host of friends.
