Graveside services for Dollie Jewel Chism, 89, of Temple, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mrs. Chism passed away Saturday, June 3, at her home in Temple.
Dollie Jewel Chism was born February 18, 1928 in Leon Junction, Texas to Jed Evans and Amanda Brumalo Evans. She was a Canteen Server for the VA Hospital in Temple for many years. Dollie loved her family, listening to country music, and watching wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys.
Mrs. Chism was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noble Edward Chism; three sons, Jerry Chism, Terry Chism, and Edward Chism; and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Peggy Chism; grandsons, Doug Chism and wife Patty, and David Chism; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
