Doc Weed

Doc Lendon Weed, 81, of Temple passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at a local nursing center. Visitation will be 911 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
Mr. Weed was born March 27, 1930 to Marvin and Eula Sawyer Weed in Erath County, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children: Samuel Lisa Weed of Temple, Brenda Gary Whitney of Temple, Lana Russell Steen of Cedar Hill and Donna Richard Giniewicz of Temple brother, Carl Pat Weed of Boerne 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Reverend David Starkey officiating.
