Services for Dixie Rozelle Berryhill, 94, of Temple will be held on Monday, September 26, at 11:00 am at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home with Rev. Ridge Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Dixie Rozelle Berryhill (Mullins) was born October 15, 1921 to Fred W. Mullins and Dixie R. Briggs in Midway, Texas. Dixie loved bowling, dancing and cooking. She was a Gold Star Wives of America member and was in the Texas Woman's Bowling Association. She loved her family and was a housewife. At the age of 51 she received her Associate's Degree in bookkeeping from Temple Junior College and worked for the college Athletics Department until her retirement in the late 1980's. She spent her time with her friends. If you have visited with her you would have seen her love of roosters. She kept a clean home and was a wonderful friend. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Her memories will be cherished by her surviving daughter Dixie A. Jurca and husband Carl; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 28 years, Otho Oliver Berryhill; and her son, Gary Lynn Berryhill.

Visitation will be held before the service from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Senior Care of Marlandwood, Bluebonnet Hospice Care, and Scott & White Hospital Staff for their excellent care.
In Lieu of Flowers please make a charitable contribution to Alzheimer's Association or to Memorial Baptist Church of Temple.
