Denny Herrin

January 21, 1930 — March 7, 2018

Memorial Services for Denny Ray Herrin, Ret. M.Sgt., 88, of Temple will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, 11 AM at Seaton Brethren Church, 12561 TX-53, Temple, TX 76501.
Mr. Herrin passed from this life on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at a local hospital while surrounded by his beloved family.

Denny was born January 21, 1930 in Bon Weir, TX to Jesse and Ferrel Herrin.

Mr. Herrin joined the military after graduating from high school. He spent over twenty-two years serving his country and a majority of that in the Air Force where he retired as a
highly decorated Master Sargent. After his distinguished career in the military he retired in 1968 and went into various sales positions where he was very successful. For the past
twenty plus years he and his family have lived in the central Texas area.

Denny was a kind soul that never met a stranger. He loved to sing old classic country on his guitar. He was lovingly known by many as "Father". Denny was known also for his love
of the American flag. His patriotism ran so deep that he wore a flag on every shirt. At the heart of it all Denny loved his Lord and loved his family. His greatest treasure in life was
his beloved family and especially his grandsons. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandpa. Denny will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Mr. Herrin is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce; brothers, Merlin, Wayne, Dalton.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Lynda Herrin; son, Philip Milburn and wife Candice of Ontario, Oregon, Steven Milburn, of Temple, TX; daughters,
Denice Allison and husband Brandon of Temple, TX, Cheryl Iraggi and husband Keith of Portland, TX, Debi Speice and husband Charles of Clovis, NM; grandchildren, Theodore,
Nicholas, Cooper, Brendon, Caysen, Brayden, Brandon, Terrance, Jason and Brandon; great grandchildren, Cade, Zak, Lyndsi, and Tanner.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Denny's name to Seaton Brethren Church.
