Dellora Dunn

Graveside services for Dellora Abbott Dunn, 66, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013, in the Athens City Cemetery in Athens, Texas.

Ms. Dunn died Tuesday, December 10, at her residence.

She was born November 4, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, to Lloyd Cecil Abbott and Ruby Bateman Abbott. She graduated from Temple High School in 1965 and earned a teaching degree from Hardin Simmons College in 1969. She then earned a masters degree from Texas AM University in 1979. She was employed by the Moody ISD for 15 years. She was a Baptist.

Ms. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruby Abbott.

She is survived by her son, David Dunn, Jr. of Temple three daughters, Dawn Angie Bragg of Austin, Davina Barkley of San Marcos and Debbie McWhirt of Sand Spring, Oklahoma and nine grandchildren, Sam, Caitlin, Carson, Chris, Jeremy, Amber, John, Kyle, and Bailey.

Visitation will be 6 8 p.m. Saturday, December 14 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
