Delfa Dewberry

Delfa Pearl Dewberry, 73, of Temple passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 25, 1938 to David B. and Alma R. Alsup Hill in Taylors Valley. She has lived in this area her entire life. She was a member of East Highway Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents husband, Gene Dewberry brother, David Hill and sister, Anne Kotrla.
Mrs. Dewberry is survived by son, Larry Dewberry of Temple daughter, Brenda Ryon of Charlotte, North Carolina brothers Burl Hill and Jimmy Hill sisters, Mary Oliver and Dixie Doss. 3 grandchildren, Chad Dewberry of Temple. Casey Bryan and Jerrica Ryon of Charlotte, NC.
Visitation was 68 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at East Highway Baptist Church with Reverend Ernest Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice.
