Deeanna Deleon

Services for Deeanna Rose DeLeon, 35, of Temple will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Reverend Steve Sauser officiating. Burial will follow in Great House Cemetery.

Deeanna Rose DeLeon died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her residence.

Deeanna Rose DeLeon was born June 2, 1982 to Robert Lopez Sr. and Connie Housewright in Temple, Texas. Deeanna graduated from Academy High School. She was a loving mother and wife. She married the love of her life, Jamie DeLeon. Her hobbies included watching the Texas Longhorns, playing bingo and sewing for her family. She was a boxer in her younger years. One of the most important things to her were her nails. She never went without her nails being done. She had a large collection of Elvis, Betty Boop, and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. Deeanne was a fighter and always laughed. She had a comedian's heart. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Devin DeLeon and Jacob DeLeon; parents, Connie Jimenez and husband Ralph, and Robert Lopez Sr. and wife Josie; three brothers, Robert Lopez Jr. and wife Betsabe, Steven Diehl, and Sean Diehl and wife Jamie; five sisters, Amanda Vahue and husband Cory, Naomi Benavidez, Bobbie Woolard and husband Rick Sr., Jennifer Allen and husband Dustin, and Delia Torres; and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with Recitation of Rosary at 7:00 pm on Friday October 20 at the funeral home.
