David Rendon

Memorial services for David Ray Rendon, 60, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 15, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating.

Mr. Rendon died Saturday, August 10 at his residence.

David was born on September 15, 1952 at Belton to the late Raymond and Trinedad Velasquez Rendon. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorn fan. He married Mary Boren on September 23, 2000 at Temple.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dennis Opferman.


Survivors include his wife, Mary Rendon of Temple three daughters, Kathleen McQueen and husband Justin of Lawton, OK, Melissa Lee and husband Marcus of Temple, Karen Massar and husband Darrell of Temple two sisters, Mary Sue Garcia and husband Paul of Temple, Ramona Rodriguez and husband Cecil of, Schwertner Texas two brothers Raymond Rendon, Jr. and wife Olga of Temple, Richard Rendon of Temple nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
