David Pierce

Memorial services for David Wayne Pierce, 63, of Temple will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mr. David Pierce passed away on November 6, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

David W. Pierce was born on November 11, 1952 to Stanley and Lucille Pierce. He graduated from Temple High School. He was a hard working family man. He enjoyed fishing at Lake Belton and playing with his grandchildren. He was always seen tinkering on various projects. He worked at Scott & White Hospital as a Fire Suppression Technician.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beverly Sexton.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Janet; two sons, Joey Pierce (Shaina) and Joshua Pierce (Jennifer); numerous siblings, including Jim Hamalton (Doris) and Charles Bullock (Janice); and three grandchildren, Miranda Pierce, Sullivan Pierce and Cayson Pierce.
