Darrell Allen

Graveside services for Darrell Eugene Allen, 81, of Troy will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at North Belton Cemetery.

Darrell passed away Friday, June 26th at a local hospital.

Darrell was born on January 12, 1934 to James Allen and Francis Moore Allen in Ross, Texas. In 1954 he married Yvonne Marie Dietz and they started their family in 1955 with twins; a son and a daughter then later were blessed with two more children. Darrell was a truck driver and enjoyed carpenter work as a hobby. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, and caring for animals. Darrell loved God and his family who will cherish his memories.

Preceded in death are his parents; three brothers, Floyd Allen, Jesse Allen, and Bobby Allen.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Allen and Darrell Allen and wife Becky; two daughters, Linda Marquez and husband Pasqual and Brenda Kersten and husband Peter; three brothers, Richard Allen and wife Judy; Delbert Allen and wife Jan, Terry L. Allen and wife Sherylynn; two sisters, Reba Cawls and Sheryl Zickafoose and husband Steve; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, June 29th from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
