Darius Jackson, Jr.

Darius Butch Glenn Jackson, Jr., 64 of Temple, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, January 21, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple with Pastor Rick Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Moffat Cemetery.

Darius Jackson, Jr. was born December 16, 1946 to Darius Jackson, Sr. and Mary Pryor Grubbs in Temple. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He retired from Wilsonart in Temple after 20 years of employment.

He is preceded in death by his father, his brother, Albert Earl Grubbs, and his sister, Donna Goodall.

Survivors include: his mother, Mary H. Grubbs of Temple, brothers Roy Grubbs of Temple, and Michael Wayne Jackson of Temple, sister, Joan Bradfield of Houston, nephews Jason Thomas Jackson, Roy Elton Grubbs, Jr., and Glenn Earl Grubbs, and niece, Kemah Blair.

Visitation will be 6:008:00pm Thursday, January 20, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
