Danny Boyd

Memorial services for Danny Louis Boyd, 66, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 23, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Ricky Lasly officiating.

Mr. Boyd passed away Sunday, February 18, at a local hospital.

Danny Boyd was born February 8, 1952 in Temple, Texas to Louis Ben Boyd and Maxine Oldman Boyd. He married Barbara Jean Lasly on April 15, 1998. Danny worked for
Lingo Construction for many years. He was a Cowboys fan; loved watching Westerns, especially John Wayne; and enjoyed fishing and playing dominos.

Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Mike Boyd, Steve Boyd, David Boyd, and Bill Michael Boyd; and two sisters, Diane Alverez and Roxanne Espinoza.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Barbara; five sons, Danny Louis Boyd, II, Phill Ross and wife Thelma, Steven Ross and wife Pam, Bill Ross, and Joseph Ross and wife
Crystal; four daughters, Lisa Grant and husband Iian, Christine Wilson and husband Joseph, Melissa Saunders and husband Darrell, and Barbara Jo Sosa; a brother, Paul Boyd;
over 44 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the ICU/ER Staff of Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
