Concepcion M. Cruz, Jr. June 2, 1941 August 30, 2013

Concepcion Concho Cruz, 72, passed away peacefully at his home on August 30, 2013, surrounded by his family after a battle with cancer. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating.

Concho worked for BNSF for 38 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He enjoyed helping others, working outside, and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Concho was preceded in death by his parents, Luz Cruz and Concepcion Cruz, Sr. and three brothers, Tony Cruz, Lupe Cruz, and Ernest Cruz.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Norma Cruz sons Lawrence Jack Mundt and wife Lisa, Eugene Mundt and wife Roxanne brothers Adolfo Cruz, Joe Cruz, and Jesse Cruz sisters Nico Perez, Frances Muro Lucia Cruz, Janie Quinteros, and Connie Olson grand children Meagan Slimp, Brandon Jarboe, Shelby Mundt, Blake Mundt, and Jacob Woytek and three great grand children.
