He was a gifted guitar player and was in a country music band, playing on the weekends at various clubs, parties and special events in Ohio. He moved to Texas in the early 80's. After he retired from Scott & White hospital as a security guard, he and Karen began singing gospel music in the church with him playing the guitar. He said he wished he had started playing gospel music a lot sooner. He truly loved it. Music and his family were the most important things in life to him. Clyde was also a Veteran having served in the United States Army.
