Clyda Megason

Clyda Megason, 88, of Temple passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at a local nursing home. She was born in Moffat, Texas to David and Irene Matlock Strickland. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and spending time with her family. She was a graduate of Belton High School. She later married Guy Dry and they were married from 1940 to 1952. He preceded her in death in 1976. She later married B. R. Megason, they were married from 1954 to 1980. He preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by her son Gary Dry of Temple, Texas Grandchildren: Kim Moore of Temple, Texas, Robin and husband Dave Rodriguez of Pearland, Texas, and Kirby Dry of Temple, Texas Great grandchildren: Amber Moore and Natasha Dry both of Temple, Texas. Private services will be held at a later date.
