Claude Grisham

Claude J. Grisham, 93 of Troy, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 in a local nursing home. Funeral service will be 10:00am Monday, May 31, 2010 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple with Rev. Harlan R. Haines officiating. Burial will follow in Pendleton Cemetery.

Claude Grisham was born January 8, 1917 to Joe and Mary Sellers Grisham in Pendleton. On November 12, 1936, he married Viola Page in Moffat. Mr. Grisham worked for Troy I.S.D., and the Bell County Road Department. He also worked as a farmer. Mr. Grisham was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and 3 sisters Annie Kelley, Lora Todd, and Ruby Kelley.

Survivors include: sons Doyle Grisham and wife Debbie of Tennessee, and Dewey Shorty Grisham and wife Linda of Temple, daughter, Patsy Pat Rushing and husband J.R. of Temple, 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

Visitation will be 68pm Sunday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
