Clara Coufal

Clara Olga Coufal, 88 of Temple, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 in a local hospital. Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday at Ocker Brethren Church with Rev. Ron Winsman officiating. Burial will follow in Seaton Cemetery.

Clara Coufal was born July 10, 1921 to John J. and Olga Marek Coufal in Oenaville, Texas. In addition to working on the farm, Ms. Coufal also worked as a caregiver for the elderly, and as a custodian at her church. She was a member SPJST Lodge 24 in Cyclone. Ms. Coufal was a member of Ocker Brethren Church where she participated in the Ocker Christian Sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 9 brothers.

Survivors include her sisters; Olga Christy of Temple, and Bessie Houy of Temple, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Ocker Brethren Church, 17454 State Highway 53, Temple, TX 76501 andor Seaton Cemetery Association, Box 1051, Temple, Texas 76503.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Monday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
