Cipriano Hernandez

Cipriano C. Hernandez, 78, of Temple, passed away, Saturday, March 10, 2012 in a local hospital. A Funeral Service will be 11:00am, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel, Temple, TX. Burial will follow at 3:00pm, at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, TX. A visitation will be Tuesday from 6:008:00pm at the funeral home.

Cipriano was born February 3, 1934 in Cheneyville, Louisiana, the son of the late Francisco Hernandez and Juana Camarillo Hernandez. On July 7, 1953, he married Eva Cordova in Temple, Texas. He worked as a Chief Medical Administrative Assistant for Olan E. Teague Veterans Hospital for 33 years, before his retirement. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Temple. Cipriano loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson David Richards and 1 great, granddaughter.

Cipriano is survived by his wife of 57 years Eva Hernandez of Temple 4 children, Emma Hernandez of Temple Dora Richards and husband Jim of Hutto Frank Hernandez, Sr. of Temple Eva Marie Wilkerson of Temple 2 sisters Felicita Rodriguez of Waco, Josephine Hernandez of Louisiana, brother, Domingo Hernandez of Louisiana, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren and a host of dear friends.
