Cindy Ramirez

Cindy (Jankowski) Ramirez, age 74 of Academy, passed from this life Monday, February 6, 2023, in Temple. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Cindy was born on November 24, 1948, to Edward Jankowski and Martie Lewandowski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cindy worked for Walmart until retirement. She loved dancing to Spanish music and spending time with her great grandsons, Caiden, and Tyler. Cindy was loved by her family and will be missed. They take comfort in knowing that she is dancing with Mike, which brings them all happiness.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Mike Ramirez; and grandson, Eric Ramirez.

Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her brothers, Alan Jankowski, and Eddie Jankowski; son, Johnnie Ramirez and wife, Odilia; daughters, Lucia Valentino and husband, Terry, Lucinda Ramirez, Michele Berry and husband, Johnathan, and Kayla Ramirez; 7 grandchildren, Celeste Ramirez, Keegan Valentino, Kiara Valentino, Dylan Ramirez, Taran Holmes, Leann Holmes, and Vayda Berry; and great grandchildren, Caiden Caldwell, and Tyler Caldwell.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Darla Valentino for her love and guidance through Cindy’s transition from this life, and to Heart of Texas Hospice of Killeen.
