Chester Clay Finto, age 82 of Holland, Texas passed from this life Monday, July 18, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White hospital in Temple, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.
Chester was born on September 26, 1939, to Sam Irwin & Mabel Bell (Feathers) Finto in Pleasanton, Texas. He worked for Tem Tex Solvents, was an automotive mechanic, and rancher.
Chester is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Finto; 3 brothers; 6 sisters; and his parents.
He is survived by 2 sons, Gary Finto of Louisville, KY, and Darryl Finto of Holland, TX; 4 brothers, Robert Finto of Troy, TX, Tommy Finto of Huntsville, TX, Jonny Finto of Huntsville, TX, and Milton Finto of Henrietta, TX; granddaughter, Amber Finto; and 2 great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held form 5-7 pm Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the funeral home.
