Mrs. Charlene Czerwieski, 85, of Dallas, and formerly of Temple, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in a Dallas nursing center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 24, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple with Father Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mrs. Czerwieski was born to William Franklin Crye and Lillian Cummings Crye in Farrar, Texas on April 28, 1922. She married John Czerwieski in Waco on March 21, 1942. She was a resident of Temple most of her life, prior to moving to Dallas 5 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a LVN with Scott White Memorial Hospital and King's Daughters Hospital in Temple. She was a member of the Texas League of Vocational Nurses, American Business Women's Association, Catholic Daughters, Ladies Auxilliary of VFW Post 1820, and the Temple Amateur Radio Club. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the church.
Survivors include one son, Don Czerwieski of Glenn Heights; and two grandsons, John Czerwieski and Kevin Czerwieski, both of Grand Prairie. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 11, 2002.
