Camila Espinoza

Services for Camila Gomez Espinoza, 75, of Temple will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Visitation will follow the service.

Mrs. Espinoza passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at a local hospital.

Camila Martinez Gomez-Espinoza was born on April 18, 1941 in Sabinal, Texas to Arcadio Gomez and Andrea Martinez Gomez. She married Enrique Espinoza April 8, 1996. Camila was a woman of faith. She served as a Guadalupana of the Sabinal Catholic Church in Sabinal. She attended Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Mrs. Espinoza was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joe Luis Davis, a brother, Manuel Gomez; and sisters, Lupe Lopez, Ramona Torres, and Sista Contreras.

Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Enrique; seven sons, David Davis of Temple, Angel Davis and wife Mona, of Copperas Cove, Henry Davis of Belton, Enrique Espinoza, Jr. of New Braunfels, Richard Espinoza and wife Sofia of San Angelo, John Espinoza of New Braunfels, Joe Espinoza and wife Joanna of New Braunfels; six daughters, Paula Rodriguez and husband Eusebio of Temple, Norma Davis of Temple; Dianna Lopez and husband Martin of San Angelo, Norma Arizmendez and husband Michael of San Angelo, Anna Ruiz and husband Johnny of Uvalde, and Frances Garcia and husband Fred of Tennessee; four brothers, Arcadio Gomez and wife Wanda of Wisconsin; Mario Gomez and wife Annabel of Sabinal; Monseis Gomez and wife Janie of San Antonio, and Thomas Gomez of Wisconsin; two sisters, Janie Lopez and husband Alfredo of San Antonio, and Andrea Sanchez of Uvalde; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
