Services for Bobby Lloyd Tice, 66, of Temple will be 2:00 p.m.., Saturday, March 5 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Deacon Julian Tyboroski officiating.
Mr. Tice passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at a local hospital.
Bobby Tice was born April 29, 1949 in Albany, Oregon to Lloyd Emery Tice and Hazel Starr Tice. He graduated from Estacado High School in Lubbock and enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served as a Medic for 20 years. He earned his LVN and a Bachelor of Science in Hospital Administration while in the Army. He met and married his wife, MariaElena Eleanora Iuculano in Lawton, Oklahoma and they were married 38 years at the time of his death. Bobby was a nurse and Chief Ward Master at Darnall Army Hospital, and worked 18 ½ years at Scott and White Memorial Hospital. He also raised cattle.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Matthew E. Tice.
He is survived by his wife, MariaElena; a son, Gerald Lloyd Tice-Fulton (Lisa Marie); a daughter, Emori Cordero (Robert); sisters, Colene Fielding, Emalu Price, and Marjorie McCowen; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobby's name may be made to the Tice Family Farm.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m.
