Bobby Specks

Funeral services for Bobby Ray Specks, 68, of Temple will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Wanda Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Specks passed Thursday at a local hospital.

Bobby was born on December 26, 1944 to A.C. and Mona Specks in Cheatham, LA. He graduated from Jasper Henderson High School in Cheatham. Mr. Specks married Darlene Taylor Specks in 2009. He had worked for the VA for 33 years. Bobby was a member of the Under the Tree Club and a member of New Faith Fellowship in Temple.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Darlene Specks of Temple two sons, Donyelly and Kenny five daughters, Moniki, Tanya, Rhonda, Lovonda, Kimberly two brothers, Larry and A.C. four sisters, Dorothy, Shirley, Gloria, Linda five grandchildren one greatgrandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
