Bobbie Carpenter

Services for Bobbie Nell Carpenter, 74, of Temple, will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple with the Rev. Roy Carpenter officiating.

Mrs. Carpenter died Saturday, March 1, at a local hospital.

She was born April 4, 1939, in Slater, Texas to Orban L Turner and Daisy Cook Turner. She was married to Jimmy L. Carpenter and was a homemaker. She had lived in the Temple area for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a greatgrand daughter, Katelynn.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy a son, Lance Carpenter and wife Janet three daughters, Nelda Cashion, Carolyn Fender and husband Kenneth, and Janna Cashion two sisters, Norma Carpenter and husband Dr. Billy, and Orba Hight seven grandchildren, Amanda, Don and wife Nikol, Candice and husband Josh, Eddie, Avi, Anna, and Michaela eight greatgrandchildren, Gabriella, Milcayla, Randee, Zachary, Finnian, James, Jacob and Luke two sistersinlaw Barbara Stewart and husband Ed, and Alice Ruth brothersinlaw Jay and wife Elain, Billy and wife Norma, and Roy and wife Cheryl and many nieces and nephews.
