Billye Olmstead

Billye Olmstead passed away February 5, 2014 in England where she had lived for the past several years. Her burial will take place in England.

Billye was born March 14, 1954, in Clifton, Texas, to James A. and Loretta J. Rierson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Billye graduated from Belton High School where she was active in the Marching 100 Band and choir. She also graduated from Temple College and Mary Hardin Baylor College, with a degree in behavioral science.

Billye worked for the County Extension Office in Belton, the Temple Fire Department, and for Temple Youth Services as a counselor.

Billye was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by a son, Jason Olmstead of Temple a daughter, April Olmstead Horak Wayne of Spring, Texas a brother Steven Rierson Judy of Oenaville halfsister Anita Kelly of Stockton, California her delightful grandchildren, Cameron Rhett Horak and Ashlyn Elizabeth Horak and her mother Loretta Schiller of Temple.
