Billy Pitzer

Billy Mack Pitzer, 79 of Temple, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 in a local hospital. Memorial service will be 11:00am, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating.

Bill Mack Pitzer was born May 27, 1931 to Gober and Ella Pitzer in Temple. He graduated from Troy High School. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Billy served in police work for most of his life as a police officer in Lubbock and Temple, and as a special agent for the Santa Fe Railway. He was an honorary Texas Ranger.

Billy is survived by sons Virgil Wayne Pitzer of Gatesville, Jeremy Todd Pitzer of Hawaii, and Christopher Sean Pitzer of Pataskala, Ohio, sister, Joe Ann Smith of Temple, lond time friends Linda Edmondson, and Marty Rogers, and 2 grandchildren.

HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
