Billy Ivey

Billy Jack Ivey, 60, passed away June 29, 2015 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday July 3, 2015 at Post Oak Cemetery under the direction of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.
Born November 3, 1954 in Big Lake, TX, Billy Jack was a son of the late Billy Jack Ivey, Sr. and Beatrice (Cooksey) Ivey. Jack worked in construction. He was known to be a hard working employee who was loving and considerate. Jack liked to read and listen to country music. He also was skilled in fur trading.
Jack is survived by his mother, Beatrice Ivey; his son, Billy Jack Ivey III (Whitaker); three daughters, Shashauna Nolan and her husband Chris, Astrial Tanner, and Nakita Ivey; a brother, Roddy Lynn Ivey; a sister, Shirley Gunn; and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to a charity of choice.
