Billy Bilbrey

Memorial Services for Billy Glenn Bilbrey, 75, of Granger, will be held 2 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Temple.

Mr. Bilbrey Passed from this life on Monday, July 2, 2018. Billy was born to Willie and Lula Bilbrey in Temple on January 13, 1943.

Billy was a life-long resident of the central Texas area. He graduated from Temple High School. He then went on to work for Wilsonart until his retirement after 30 years. Mr. Bilbrey enjoyed fishing with friends and family whenever he was able. He had a great love of the outdoors and spent as much as he could outside. He was a mechanic by trade and loved to work on anything with an engine, especially drag racers. Billy's greatest treasure in life was his family. He was a family man to the core. The thing he loved the most was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Mr. Bilbrey is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Bilbrey; a sister, Anita Hill; and his parents.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his son, Aaron Bilbrey and wife, Shannon; daughter, Dedra Preece and husband, Lewis; sisters, Joyce Wilkinson and husband Jim; Debbie Bartek and husband Russell; grandchildren, Meagan, Blake, Ashleigh, Carsyn, Dalton, Jacob, Garrett, Melissa, Meagan; great-grandchildren, Adilyn, Alaska, Liliana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
