Billie Richardson

Mrs. Billie W. Richardson, 93, of Belton, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 in a Temple nursing center.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple with Dr. Ramiro Pena officiating.

Mrs. Richardson was born on December 1, 1915 in Temple to Clinton and Sophia Murrell. She was a lifelong resident of Temple. She married Eli Richardson in July 1948. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Temple Medical Clinic assisting Dr.'s Howell, Wiedman, Cox and Shelton for about 21 years. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include one daughter, Gayle Takach of Indiana; two grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 22, 1995.

Visitation will be Friday from 7-8:30 P.M. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
