Mrs. Beverly McConnell, 65, of Temple, died Monday, June 1, 2009 in a Temple hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mrs. McConnell was born to Alton and Novella Weathermon Knowles in Flomatan, Alabama on September 2, 1943. She had been a resident of Temple since 1967. Prior to her retirement, she worked in food service. She was a Pentecostal.
Survivors include her husband, Benny McConnell of Temple; three sons, Douglas Ford, Dannie Ford, and Vance Freeman, all of Temple; one brother, Adney Chambers of Temple; five grand-children; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
