Beverly Desmarais

Beverly Marie Desmarais, 73 of Temple, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 in a local nursing facility. Memorial service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, January 2, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating.

Beverly Desmarais was born August 31, 1937 to Evelyn Omally in Clinton, Massachusetts. On October 31, 1969, she was married to Joseph Maurice Desmarais in Leominster, Massachusetts. Mrs. Desmarais worked as a nurses aide and a homemaker. She was a Catholic. She loved her family, and loved animals. She enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, shopping, and playing bingo.


She was preceded in death by her husband on February 25, 1990.


Survivors include: sons John Desmarais of Salado, Patrick Eickenroth of Michigan, and Rene Desmarais of Port Aransas, Texas, daughters Cynthia Hefner of Temple, and Darlene Eickenroth of Michigan, sister, Shirley Eickenroth of Greenville, Michigan and 12 grandchildren.
