Bernice Mitchell

Bernice Lucille Mitchell, 89, of Salado, formerly of Temple, passed away November 14, 2010 at her residence. Bernice was born August 1, 1921 to Amelia and Mack Hill in Bell County. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a Baptist. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the funeral home with Bro. John Warden officiating. Burial will follow in Greathouse Cemetery. Her grandsons will honor her as pallbearers.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Mitchell in 1997 sons, Donny Mitchell and James Mitchell daughter, Patricia Ann Mitchell and grandson, Emmett Pryor, Jr.

She is survived by sons: Harold Mitchell and wife, Diane and Billy Mitchell and wife, Josie, both of Temple daughters: Lucille Dermody and husband, George of Meridian, and Glenda Williams and husband, Billy of Killeen daughtersinlaw, Patsy Ann Mitchell of Salado and Joan Mitchell of Cypress 21 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 11 greatgreat grandchildren.

Visitation will be 68 p.m. at the funeral home. HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
