Benito Guajardo

Benito Guajardo, 59, of Temple, died Monday, June 16, 2008 in a local hospital.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 21, 2008 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Temple with Father Don Loftin officiating. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mr. Guajardo was born to Raymond and Emma Gonzales Guajardo in Salado, Texas on February 6, 1949. He was a lifelong resident of Bell County. He married Anita Rodriguez in Belton on January 30, 1970. He had been employed with Scott White Memorial Hospital in Temple for 23 years. Mr. Guajardo was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Guajardo of Temple; two daughters, Amanda Hernandez and Sophia Hernandez, both of Temple; four sisters, Lupe Guajardo of Belton, Ramona Ortiz of Temple, Susie Luna of Heidenheimer and Mary Lou Gallegos of Temple; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
