Ben Paddille Cobos, age 88 of Temple, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at a local nursing facility. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rosebud.
Ben was born on March 15, 1933, to Ventura and Francis (Paddille) Cobos in Rosebud, Texas. He married Virginia Duarte Cobos on August 29, 1954. Ben worked for Fletcher Enterprises, Swift Transportation, and Temple Iron & Metal. He played baseball in his younger days for the city of Rosebud. He was a true cowboy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott and White, and the care team at Cornerstone Gardens Nursing Home.
