Becky Karnowski

Services for Becky Sue Karnowski, 57, of Moody, Texas will be 10:00 am Friday, July 31, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple with Pastor Ryan Kiplinger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.

Becky passed away Tuesday, July 28th at a local hospital.

Becky was born November 6, 1957 to Charles Carlock and Jimmie Moore Carlock in Cleburne, Texas. She married Paul Karnowski and they were blessed with three children. Becky was a member of the Foundation United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a part of her church and volunteered her time serving there. Becky also sponsored a child in Kenya through the Church Missionary Project. She taught Special Education for Temple College and the Moody School District from which she retired. Becky loved her family and especially her five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father in 2012 and sister, Denzell Green, in 1991.

Survivors include her husband; son, Jeremy Karnowski and wife Brandi; daughters, Candie Garrett and husband JW, Angela Washington and husband Kelan; four brothers; Charles Carlock, Donald Carlock, Herbert Carlock, Gary Carlock; sister, Polly Wagner; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 30th from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
