Services for Barbara Jean Bruggman-Thompson, 66, of Temple will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton, Texas.
Barbara Thompson died peacefully on Sunday, March 15th surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Rosebud, Texas to Alan Gene Bruggman and Dorothy Mae Sapp Bruggman on February 16, 1949. Barbara owned and operated Aunt B's Daycare in Little River Academy, TX from 1977 to 1990. She was known by many as "Aunt B" in our community and will be deeply missed.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Marshall Thompson of Rogers, Texas and by her parents.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Trina Ivey of Frisco, TX; granddaughter Haleigh Emelia Ivey; brother, Wayne Bruggman; sister, Peggy Treadway; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 on Friday, March 20th at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
