Aurelia Torres

Aurelia Galvan Torres, age 83 of Temple, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Aurelia was born on June 16, 1937 to Antonio Galvan and Ramona Matamoros in Temple, Texas. She was a loving mother and cared deeply for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Aurelia was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.

She is preceded in death by her son, David Torres.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sister, Rosemary Lara; children, Armando, Gloria, Ramona and Alice; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm with a rosary recited at 6 pm Friday, October 9, 2020 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
