Aurelia Medrano

Aurelia Tollie Tamayo Medrano, 54 of Troy died Thursday, April 8 in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Chamberlain of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will be officiating, interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
Mrs. Medrano was born February 21, 1956 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and shortly after birth her family moved to Belton and Tollie graduated from Belton High School. She has worked for Temple Independent School District for several years and she was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Mrs. Medrano is survived by husband: Robert P. Medrano of Troy, sons: Robert A. Medrano of Troy and Randon C. Medrano of Anchorage, Alaska, sisters: Angelina Mollie Emigh of Pueblo, Colorado and Josie Trevino of Memphis, Tennessee and one brother: Roy Tamayo of Michigan.
Visitation will be Monday, 5 to 7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
