Augustina Mungia

Augustina Sanchez Mungia, 74, of Temple, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at her residence. A Burial of Christian Mass will be 10:00am, Monday, August 27, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Temple, TX, with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rosebud, TX. A Rosary will be held 7:00pm, Sunday, August 26, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple, TX.
Augustina was born April 14, 1938 in Rosebud Texas, the daughter of the late Roman Sanchez and Victoria Tenorio Sanchez. On July 3, 1976, she married Marcello Mungia, Sr., in Temple, TX. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Temple, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents brothers, Jesse Sanchez, Martin Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, and sister, Pat Garcia.
Augustina is survived by her husband, Marcello Mungia, Sr. of Temple daughters, Marina Mungia of Temple, Rebecca Flores of Troy son, Marcello Mungia, Jr. of Belton, 4 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
