Audrey Drew

Services for Audrey A. Drew, 71, of Moody, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Don Lentz officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

Mrs. Drew died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at a local nursing facility.

Audrey was born on April 17, 1943 in Lampasas to Lionel Ted Sofge, Sr. and Avaughn Speer. She graduated from Temple High School. Audrey married Virgil Leon Drew in 1961. They were married for 33 years at the time of his death. Audrey was the office manager for Bell Finance for 40 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Troy and enjoyed oil painting, pottery, and had an everlasting love for her pets.

Mrs. Drew was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil. She is survived by her son, Dickie Drew daughter, Dana Karl brother Lionel Ted Sofge, Jr. two grandchildren, Brandy Farmer and Justin Karl and three greatgrandchildren, Jadyn Farmer, Brantley Karl, and Hayden Karl.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a donation in Audreys name be made to the American Heart Association.

Visitation will be 5:00 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
