Arwood Vaden

Mr. Arwood Skeeter Vaden 82 of Owl Creek, died Wednesday, May 16 2012 in a local hospital.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 19 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Moffat Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.
Mr. Vaden was born June 7, 1929 in Bland, Texas to the late Will and Minnie Pearl Tobias Vaden, he was of the Baptist faith and service in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Reba Vaden, sister, Lavern Watts, brothers, Lester and Marvin Vaden and stepdaughter Jimmie Gambel. He was retired from the drywall construction industry.
Survivors: wife Irene Owens of Owl Creek, 3 stepdaughters and 3 stepsons, brothers: W.T. Vaden of Kerrville, TX, Virgil Vaden and Harold Vaden both of Fort Worth and several grandchildren.
Visitation will Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
